APC in non realistic historical scenarios may give single game oddities similar to OOTP especially if one is creating a schedule on the fly.
My opinion is that Action PC is not the way to go if you are deviating from realistic historical because APC's game engine was built exclusively for realistic historical only whereas everything else is not. Their ability to perform may very well be reliant on end user's comfort with that specific game engine. However Strat, Replay and Diamond Mind may or may not do well if one is deviating from realistic historical. Action PC's would be my suggestion for the newbie.ĭeviation from exclusively realistic historical and I'd take you to vintage board game based for the ability to manipulate based on established and proven protocols that are very entertaining to play with.
